Show Choir students are reminded that they need to have makeup Friday and all outfits cleaned and pressed.
Students who are bringing curling irons are reminded to label them!!
We will leave at 11am for Powhatan, please bring money for lunch and dinner. Items may be on sale (tshirts, cds, video of performances, etc.) I do not have exact prices.
Parents, I will instruct students to call you when we reach orange county on the way home. Please pick up students on time.

The choir sells sodas to help pay for various fees. Students who bring in soda cans or bottles will be given one point for every can or bottle they bring in towards their choral letter.

The Yankee Candle Fundraiser for Spring has been extended to be due on March 1st. If you would like a flier , please e-mail Mrs. R at trichtar@culpeperschools.org

The EVHS Fine Arts Department will be celebrating Arts in Our Schools Month on Tuesday, March 20th at 7pm in the EVHS Forum. Show Choir, Men’s A cappella, and Artistic Choir will be performing!! Students need to be in the choir room by 6:15pm. Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated. All donations will be divided between the Fine Arts department at EVHS!!

Hemming needed for Men’s Ac and Show Choir…..
The Men’s A cappella needs some hemming on their black pants. If you can come in and help with this please email Mrs. R at trichtar@culpeperschools.org.

Show Choir competition at Amherst High School. Men’s A cappella will be singing and dancing with the show choir. Please fill out the permission slip for men’s Ac. Outfits, etc. will be assigned.
Time for leaving and returning to EVHS is TBA.
Students will need to bring money for the event. Items such as t-shirts, DVD’s, shout outs, etc. will be for sale.

April 12th
A cappella Concert- featuring the Overtones from James Madison University @7pm in the EVHS forum
The Overtones are a mixed group of men and women.
Admission is $3.
Men’s A cappella and Women’s A cappella will be performing!!
All Choir students are required to attend and an admission ticket will be given to them before the show.
Students need to be in the choir room by 6:15pm.

May 8th- Final Booster meeting for the year at EVHS in the choir room. Executive will meet at 6:45 pm and the General will meet at 7:00pm. We will be electing officers.

May 11th- All Outfits for Spring Concert need to be in the choir room ready for performance (see below). We will be taking Spring Concert photos on this day.
May 16th- Required after school dress rehearsal for all choir members in the forum. The press will be invited and students are reminded that rehearsal will start promptly at 3:15pm. Students who cannot attend need to fill out a reason for absence form.
May 17th- Spring Concert
EVHS Choral Spring Concert- Music of the 50s and 60s!!
Outfits- Students will be asked to help provide a 50s or 60s outfit. Stay tuned for more info.
If students have a poodle skirt, please e-mail Mrs. R at trichtar@culpeperschools.org.
The concert will be performed in the EVHS forum at 7pm. Awards and letters will be given out at the end of the concert.
The concert admission will be by donation.
A suggested $3 donation will be appreciated.
Seniors- We need baby pictures, please e-mail Mrs. R one or 2 of your favorite baby pictures or bring them in. I will scan them and give them back to you. Baby pictures need to be brought or e-mailed to Mrs. R by Friday, May 4th.

Show Choir will not have any after school rehearsals for the week of Feb. 26th. The week of March 24th, show choir will have rehearsal on Tuesday, Wed, Thursday.
The Show Choir will have after school rehearsal Wednesdays for the Month of March, April, and May till May 17th.
Women’s A cappella will have after school rehearsal Wednesdays for the Month of March, April and May till May 17th till 4:15pm. They will perform for the April 12th and May 17th concerts and graduation.
Bermuda – There will be after school rehearsals for this trip. Info to follow…
