Thanks to all parents who came to last nights booster meeting.
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. 

Intro to choir and Show Choir students have been given CD's to practice with over break.  The Holiday Concert is Dec. 12th. Please encourage your student to practice over break.  Show Choir students were given a practice sheet to fill out and turn in on Monday for a homework grade. Thanks for your support!!

Wonderful Acappella Concert!!
Thanks so much to our awesome parents for selling tickets, setting up, running the concession stand, selling 50/50 raffle tickets, and just for coming to support your child in high school choir last night. 
Parent support means a great deal to your student!!! They work hard on their music and it is nice to have someone to sing it to!!

Great Job to all the choirs that performed!! I am proud of you!! The holiday concert is right around the corner on Dec. 12th.

IPAD RAFFLE EXTENDED

The EVHS Choral Boosters have extended the date for the raffle for the IPAD until all 400 tickets have been sold. Tickets are $5 each. Please email me if you are interested in purchasing a ticket. Proceeds from this sale will go to student accounts and to our much needed performance risers. As soon as all 400 tickets have been sold, we will hold the drawing at school on EV TV. The winner will be notified. You do not have to be present to win. Thank you for supporting your child in choir!! Thanks you for those of you who have already bought raffle tickets!!!

Football game on Friday Nov. 15th..

The EVHS Choir has been given the 50/50 raffle for our first ever home football playoff game.  I have asked students to help for Friday night.  They will be given a pass to get into the game.  If students are given a pass, they are expected to help sell raffle tickets or spirit items. 
The game will begin at 7pm. 

We could use another parent to help, please email me ASAP if you are able to come help at  the football game!!

Tomorrow's Concert - Instructions

Nov. 14th-
Intro to Choir, Women's Ac, and Men's Ac students need to be here between 6:15 and 6:30pm.  The dress for Intro is Choir t-shirt or Cyclone T-shirt and blue jeans.  The outfit for Women's Ac is a black or white top and blue jeans.  The Men's Ac Outfit is a button down white shirt and blue jeans.  We will perform at 7pm. 

Show Choir students will be given a pass to get into the concert free.  All students are required to attend the concert.  Attendance will be taken and a grade will be given.  Please support your student by attending the concert. I think you will be impressed with all of their hard work!!

A note about all district tryouts

All District went great on Friday.  Congrats to the 22 students who made the choir!!! Congrats to all students who tried out.  Your behavior was excellent and you really showed your Cyclone Care Attitude.  All students who tried out will receive a Cyclone Care Card because your behavior and  made the trip extra fun!!!  Your shirts looked great too!! All students will be receiving extra credit as well!! GREAT JOB Guys!!!

Thanks to Mrs. Elias, Mrs. Celesky, and Mrs. Croft for helping me on this trip.  Parent Volunteers are awesome!!!

This year All District Choir will be held at EVHS!!! in Feb.  More info will be coming out soon!!

I am excited about the concert on Thursday night!!! The choir needs at least two parents that are willing to help run concessions. The concession stand will be set up in the back of the forum so you will see the entire concert. You will also have a few student helpers.

Holiday Decorations...Parent Volunteer Needed... Please respond if you can help...

We need a few parent volunteer  to come in and help inventory our holiday decorations.  This would have to take place on a Wednesday or Friday during the school day between now and Thanksgiving break.  Please email me if you are able to help.

Exit 245 is coming!!! The awesome all male a cappella group will be performing with our own Eastern View High School Velocity and Aftermath on Thursday, Nov. 14th at 7pm in the EVHS forum.

Christmas Wreath Decoration and Silent Auction!!

Christmas Wreath Decoration and Sale…

We need creative and crafty parents to help decorate Christmas wreaths for our upcoming Holiday Concert.  The choir has obtained green wreaths that need a lot of love.  Once the wreaths are decorated the choir will put them up for silent auction at our winter concert on December 12^th.  The wreaths can be decorated in fun themes, colors, etc… (even a football themed wreath!!)

If interested, please fill out the form below and we will send a wreath home with your student.  Please send in form by Friday, Nov. 15^th.  The wreaths need to be turned back into the choir room by Friday, Dec. 6^th. All proceeds will benefit our riser fund!!
