We are in the last few weeks of school. March and April were extremely busy and successful! I am so proud of the progress our students have made this year! We have two more events in May to end out the year, Spring Concert and Graduation. I will need volunteers for both events. Please see more information below.

Spring Concert-
The annual Spring Choral Concert, Music of the Movies, will take place on Wednesday, May 10th at 6pm. Students are asked to be at school at 5pm and meet in the forum for warm-up. Students need to wear school appropriate jeans (blue or black) with comfortable shoes and their choir Fine Arts t-shirt that they received with their choir fee. We do need parent volunteers that night: Please sign up if you can pass out programs, donate water, help supervise, or run the 50/50 raffle. Our code is EVHSChoir

Graduation Cords:
Students who have been in the fine arts program at EVHS for all four years at EVHS will have the option of purchasing a Fine Arts Pink Cord to wear graduation for $3. Please see Mrs. R with any questions.
Choir Outfit Return-
All Choral Outfit items that belong to school need to be returned to the choir room by Friday, May 12th. This includes shoes, dresses, tux pieces, etc.
Graduation
Saturday, May 20th - In the MORNING- This is a change from previous years…
This event is required for all choir students in 2nd and 3rd block choir and optional for Intro to Choir students. All Choir students need to report to the choir room by 6:45am. CYCLONE WAY WILL CLOSE AT 7AM and you will not be allowed on campus.
We will process down to the field together to sing "Together We Are One"
Attire: "Sunday Best"
Girls- School appropriate dress (no strapless or spaghetti straps, wear a cardigan) or dress pants, nice top (must provide school appropriate coverage), dress shoes (Please do not wear heels over 2 inches, the field is not easy to walk in).
Boys- School appropriate nice pants (khaki or dress pants, NO SHORTS), button down shirt with tie or polo

*Contracts and Choir Fees- I am still missing choir fees and contracts from a few students, please turn these in AP.
Choir Contracts:
Choir students- Please turn in your choir contracts. They are now past due and must be filled out completely. You will not be able to participate in any choir field trips until these are turned in.
Choir Fee:
Choir fee- Students, please turn in your $20 choir fee. This is now past due. Checks may be made out to Eastern View High School.

EVHS Choral Booster Membership:
EVHS Choral Booster Membership- Parents may sign up to volunteer with our Amazing EVHS Choral Boosters. You do not have to pay a fee to join choral boosters. This is a change from our first executive meeting in November 2021 and change to the bylaws. The following special memberships will stay in place.

Platinum Cyclones $75 – 4 Reserved seats for Fall, Winter, and Spring Concerts, 3 concession coupons
Golden Cyclones $50 – 3 Reserved seats for Fall & Spring Concerts, 2 concessions coupons
Silver Cyclones $25– 2 Reserved seats for Fall & Spring Concerts and 2 concession coupons
General Cyclone - $10 – 1 reserved seat for Fall, Winter, and Spring Concert, 2 concessions coupons
