You can still order a professional DVD of last night's concert.  There was an order form on the back of the concert program.  The DVD's are $20.

Concert Last Night- Thanks!!

Thanks to everyone who helped make last night's concert a success!! Thanks to all the parents and students and my former students who helped!! You guys were awesome!! Thanks to Mr. Walker for running the sound and to Mrs. Jarvis for playing for us!!!
Don't forget about our upcoming Booster meeting on Monday, June 9th at CMS. See you there!!

DVD for sale

A professional recording of the Spring concert will be for sale at the spring concert for $20 each.  I will send home order forms with students on Wednesday.

Graduation info.

Graduation will take place on Friday, June 6th.  All Artistic Choir members need to report to EVHS by 5:30pm to the choir room.  We will walk down to the field together as a group.
Graduation will be over around 8:30pm.
All students will be given a parking pass to park on the EVHS grounds.  Please do not loose this pass.
This will be the final exam for all artistic members.

All Senior choir outfits and music is due to the Choir room by Friday, May 30th.

Concert Thursday.. last minute reminders..

Reminder.. The final choir concert of the year will take place this Thursday at 7pm here at EVHS.  All Choir students need to report to the following rooms at 6:15am.

Artistic Choir- Band Room
Electrified- Drama Room
Innovation- Choir Room

Outfits for Thursday are as follows:

Artistic- Plain bright colored shirt/ Jeans (80s wear)
Electrified- umbrella, Coat, plain bright colored shirt/ jeans (80's wear)
Innovation- Black shirt, plain bright colored shirt, jeans, (80s wear)

All outfits must abide by the CCPS dresscode..

Bake Sales in June..

The Choir will have 3 opportunities to have Bake Sales in June.
Here is the list:
Saturday, June 14th
Thursday, June 19th
Thursday, June 26th.
The Bake Sales will take place at Walmart. Please sign-up in the choir room if you can help work the sale or bake for the sale. Saturday Sales are 9 to 4pm and the Thursday sales are 4 to 8. All Show Choir members are encouraged to participate.

Car Wash June 28th

Bake Sale today..

Just a reminder.. The EVHS Choral Boosters will have a bake sale at Walmart from 4 to 8.  Thanks to all the parents who have signed up to help.  If you have bake goods please bring them to the choir room by 3pm or drop them off at Walmart.

Choir Field Trip Delayed

The EVHS Choir field trip to Kings Dominion has been delayed 2 hours due to our school's two hour delay. We will now leave EVHS at 9:45am. Please be at school between 9:15am and 9:30am.  Today 5-16-14

Senior Debts have been turned over to the Senior Class Sponsor.  I will be giving out a Senior Debt reminder today.  Please make sure all items or payment is turned in ASAP.

The Fundraising Meeting Scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th has been canceled.

EVHS Choral Concert May 29th, 2014 7pm

The EVHS Choir will be presenting their annual spring concert "Music from the 80's and 90's" on Thursday, May 29th at 7pm. Admission is free but a suggested donation of $3 per person at the door would be appreciated. All Choir Alumni are invited to come sing our final number "River in Judea".

Come out for a great night of music and fun!!!

After School Rehearsal on May 27th

There will be an after school rehearsal till 5pm on May 27th for all choir students for the Spring Concert.  This rehearsal will be graded.  If students are unable to attend they will need to turn in a reason for absence form.

The EVHS Show Choir will be having bake sales on the following dates all summer in order to help pay for the Show Choir fees for the 2014-2015 season.  We will need at least one parent working each shift.  We need at least three students working each shift.  Reminder: All Show Choir Students are required to participate in 5 fundraising events.  All Show Choir Parents are required to participate in three events.

Show Band and Men's A cappella Meeting

The Show Band will have rehearsal in the choir room on Monday May 12th and Monday May 19th till 4:15pm..

Guys who will be or are interested in joining Men's A cappella for the 2014-2015 school year, there will be a quick meeting on Wednesday, May 21 in the choir room till 4pm. Please see Mrs. R with any questions you may have. 

Senior Solos...

Seniors who would like to sing a solo for the spring concert will need to try out on Wednesday, May 14th after school till 4:30pm.  If you have already sung for Mrs. R, you do not need to sing again.

May 7th Track Event , help with concessions...

On Wednesday, May 7th, the choir has been given the opportunity to work in the concession stands for the track meet here at Eastern View High School.  This event will take place after school.  Time to be announced.  I need 5 students and 2 parents to volunteer.  Proceeds from this event will go to choir expenses next year.
