BERMUDA INFO!!! (Info, info sheet, and parent consent form)

Bermuda Trip Payment And Itinerary

Dates: Friday, June 8th through Thursday, June 14th

Leave: out of Baltimore, MD- will request school buses.

Friday-Baltimore MD- leave port

Sat- Cruising

Sun- Kings Warf, Bermuda- arrive at 3pm /Shopping around Kings Warf in the afternoon

Monday- Day at the Beach- plan an excursion of snorkeling here (price is not included below.  Price will come.)

We will be going to Horseshoe Bay as a group

Tuesday- morning- explore St. Georges (?)

Ship will leave around 12pm.

Wednesday- sailing

Thursday -7am- We will doc in Baltimore, MD but we will probably not leave the boat until 9 to 9:30am.



Cost: Student (in quad room) $1034.00, Chaperone (in double rooms) $1174.00

This price includes:

-Adjudication Fees for a Choir Festival

-Full Time Music Festivals Staff Director dedicated to our group

-Quad Room accommodations/ Parent is 2 to a room (Parents who are willing to stay 4 to a room may attend the trip at a discounted price.)

-6 nights aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s Explorer of the Seas leaving out of Baltimore, MD

-3 gourmet meals per day/ or eating available all day

-Video/ Arcade, card room, library, swimming pool, fitness center, rock climbing wall, in line skating, walking track

-all port charges and gratuities (except for the $1 per person fee with the porter)

-award ceremonies

-clinic/workshop for choir on the ship

-performance time on the ship

-t-shirt for each student

-$50 for a sea pass account on board for students and parents

-comprehensive travel insurance that will take care of medical, baggage, evacuation, and trip cancellation or interruption coverage

-Excursion to Scenic South Shore of Bermuda on the Horseshoe Bay Beach Express

-Fun, Fun, Fun

-Great Bonding Time!!! A memorable high school experience!!





***Students who wish to stay two to a room or three to a room will have an increase in price. 



This price does not include:

$1 tip for the porter at port

$spending money

Money for room upgrade to a triple or double

Money to see the medical staff on board if needed

Bus ticket in Bermuda (Not very expensive but will get price as we get closer to the trip.)

Passport fees

Excursion fees

                                               

 All passengers must be covered by Health Insurance.  

Passport- You are responsible for your passport.  You can obtain your passport from the local post office. Please see Mrs. R with any questions.

Medical- If medical care is needed on the cruise, there is a $40-$50 fee upfront to see the doctor.  This money will be reimbursed through the purchased travel insurance.

 Students will need to have spending money on this trip for shopping and possible excursions.  Excursion information will come as the date of the cruise approaches. 

What you will need to turn in:

                -CCPS Permission Form        

                -Parent Agreement Form                     

                -Students Agreement Form- found in your syllabus (agreement through the contract)

                -$100 deposit due Friday, Jan. 13th (checks made out to EVHS Choral Boosters,

                If you have fundraised this then you do not need to pay the deposit. That is five candy boxes.)



                ***There may be more forms forthcoming as we get closer to the trip date.

  Due Dates-

***At least 20 people need to sign up in order for this trip to take place.  The $100 deposit will be held until 20 people have signed up.  If 20 people do not sign up, the trip will be canceled and the $100 will be returned to you, however if the trip does take place the $100 deposit for the trip will be non- refundable. 

Parent and Student – Friday, Jan. 13th- Parent Agreement, Student Agreement, CCPS Permission Form, and deposit payment of $100. (There are a few students who have this money in their account.)

(186.80 will take ten candy boxes to make)

All Money and Fees are due to the Choir room by May 11th, 2012.

I agree to the following:



1.      to pay all expected fees that apply to the trip

2.      to pay fees that may have not been met by fundraising

3.      to provide spending money for my child to eat lunch on the Island

4.      to fill out all necessary medical forms and permission forms

5.      to follow all school rules as set by the Culpeper County School Board

6.      to follow the school dress code while watching my child pack for the trip(Bathing suits must be appropriate.  Guys- shorts / Girls- One piece or tankini suits only that covers the entire midriff area/ and are not low cut showing inappropriate cleavage)

7.      in case of incident, any time your child does not follow the school rules or dress code, he/she will be sent home at the parent’s expense

8.      if a chaperone, to pay all fees for my trip

9.      to know that in case of an incident that threatens national security, the school board may cancel the trip and depending on the time frame,  55 or more days ahead of time of departure, a partial refund, not full, will be given

10.  I will support my child in preparing for this exciting trip
