ALL DISTRICT CHOIR Auditions
Dear Parents or Guardians,
All EVHS Choir students have an amazing opportunity to
audition for the All District Choir that will take place on February 8th
and 9th, 2013. Students are
rehearsing “O Danny Boy for this audition” and practicing sight reading during class time.
The audition will take place at William Moroe High School in Greene County,
VA.
I have requested a morning time slot for this trip, however,
I will not know the time slot until all paperwork is turned in. The time is TBA
. Depending on our audition time, the
choir may have to stop and eat lunch or eat lunch at William Monroe High
School. We will stop at McDonalds if
needed. I will update you on the blog as our audition time becomes available. While they are no plans to stop on the way to or from
our destination, the bus could stop if an emergency or student need occurs.
Students selected that are 11th and 12th
grade for the choir will have the opportunity to audition for All State
Choir. Being selected to this choir is a
great way for students to meet other choir members from around our district,
work with highly skilled conductors, and just have a great time!!! Being
selected is a great item to list on your college application!!!
Please encourage your student to try out for this wonderful
experience!!
