Seniors have the option to audition
for the Virginia Music Educators Honor’s Choir that will rehearse and perform
in Hot Springs, VA on November 21st-23rd
.
Audition:
“I Attempt From Love’s Sickness” by Henry Purcell
Temp is quarter note=120
Sight reading- 20% of total
score/ 8 measure

packet.
1.
Open to all Seniors.
2.
Where? Longwood College in
Farmville, VA on Saturday, October 5th, 2013.
3.
Time? To be announced
4.
Need to turn in $15 audition fee to Mrs. R by Thursday, September 5th.
5.
Parents are to provide student transportation to Longwood College.
6.
Parents must sign the attached note in order to register their
students. The note must have the parent
signature, principal signature, and choral director signature. You MUST have the note with you when you
register your student.
7.
Students must wear Business/Dressy Attire. The judges will see the performers, they will
not be hidden.
Note: This letter must be turned in with $15 for the
students to audition. The letter will be
returned to you and a copy will be kept in the choir office. Please take the letter with you to your VME
Audition.
