Dear
Parents,
Congratulations!!
Your student has been chosen to participate in the upcoming All District Choir
on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8th and 9th. The All District Choir will take place at
Fluvanna County High School in Palmyra, VA.
On Friday, Feb. 8th, students will need to check in with
their first block teachers and report to the choir room. We will leave EVHS at 8am and proceed to
Fluvanna County High School. Students will
rehearse till 5pm. Students will need to
pack a lunch. Dress code for Friday is
the same as the EVHS dress code. We
should return home to EVHS at 6:30pm. While there are no plans to stop on
the way to or from our destination, the bus could stop if an emergency or
student need occurs.
On Saturday,
Feb. 9th, all students will meet in the EVHS Parking lot at 8am and
proceed to Fluvanna County High School.
Dress code for Saturday is black and white. Please see black and white dress code below. Students will need to pack a lunch for this
day. The concert time is 3pm. Parents who are attending the concert may sign
their students out after the concert with Mrs. R. All other students will ride home on the bus
and arrive approximately around 4:30pm at EVHS.
If there is
inclement weather, the All District Choir event will be held on Friday and
Saturday, Feb. 15th and 16th. Please keep both dates open. The time for these dates will be the same.
Students
will need to pay a fee of $35 for this event.
This will include registration and music. All money and permission slips are due to
Mrs. R by January 11th. Checks
need to be made out to Eastern View High School Choral Boosters.
Chaperones - I will
need at least two chaperones for this trip. All chaperones must be approved by
the Culpeper School Board. If you are
not on the approved list and are interested in chaperoning, please email me for
a form. Please email me at trichtar@culpeperschools.org if you
